Lyme disease has ...I am glad your swallow improves. Lyme disease has been linked to many and varied auto immune disorders (lyme can be hideously confusing to the immune system), amongst them Sjogrens' syndrome, another label for autoimmune disorder of unknown aetiology, whose main symptom is dry mouth/throat (tennis player Venus Williams is diagnosed with it, yet I suspect this is a manifestation of lyme disease).
Mouth hygiene
The saying goes, correctly, that a fish rots from the mouth down, as the mouth is the entry point for bacteria. Oral hygiene matters.
My suggested regime for oral hygiene would avoid the toxicity of chlorine related substances and opt instead for very low dilution of iodine.e.g. lugol's iodine 3% solution. 1 tiny drop in 25ml of water. Gargle with half this liquid for 2 minutes and spit. Repeat morning and night. This results in a slight absorption of iodine, perhaps 0.5mg daily. Read up on safe iodine levels and consider any pre-existing treatment for thyroid problems before doing this, and perhaps don't do it twice every day, and not forever. Unlike chlorine, our bodies need iodine, and generally likely get insufficient for health. That absorbed iodine will likely help this approach to get in towards tooth roots etc. killing more bacteria. My mouth/breath can feel fresh in the morning after using this last thing at night.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06072309965051289292noreply@blogger.com
